Healthy Turkey Chili Recipe Ingredients:

3 cups chopped Cooked Turkey

1 tablespoon Margarine

1½ cups chopped Onion

1 Garlic Clove - minced

1/2 cup chopped Red Bell Pepper

1/2 cup chopped Celery
-
1 tablespoon minced, seeded - Jalapeño
Pepper

2 (16oz) cans Chicken Broth Fat-Free
Less-sodium
-
2 (19oz) cans White Beans - drained,
divided
-
1 (4½oz) can chopped Green Chiles
-
1½ teaspoons Ground Cumin
-
1 cup frozen Whole Kernel Corn
-
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
-
1/2 teaspoon Salt
-
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
-
1 cup 1% Low-Fat Milk
-
1/2 cup chopped Fresh Cilantro

Healthy Turkey Chili Recipe
Cooking Instructions:

In a large Dutch oven melt margarine over
medium-high heat, add onion, garlic,
red pepper, celery and jalapeño
pepper,
sauté 5 minutes.

Add in the turkey, broth, 1½ cups beans,
green chiles, cumin, corn, chili powder,
salt and black pepper, bring to the boil,
cover, reduce heat, simmer for 15 minutes.

Mash the remaining beans, add mashed beans
and milk to the turkey mixture.

Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes or until
mixture is thick, stirring frequently, stir
in chopped cilantro and serve
