Healthy Biscuit Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Reduced-Calorie Stick Margarine
  • 1 (8oz) carton Plain Low-Fat Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour

Healthy Biscuit Recipe Cooking Instructions:
  • Combine baking powder, flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl then cut in the margarine with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
     
  • Combine honey and yogurt, add to flour mixture, stirring with a fork just until dry ingredients are moistened.
     
  • Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour over work surface, turn dough out onto floured surface and knead lightly 4 to 5 times.
     
  • Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut into rounds with a 2-inch biscuit cutter, place the biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.
     
  • Bake at 425° for 10 minutes or until golden.
