1 tablespoon Cornstarch - divided

1/8 teaspoon Salt

3/4 cup Corn Syrup

2 Flaky Pie Crusts

Corn Oil

Cooking Instructions:

Use one of the pie crusts to line a pie
plate.

Sift 3/4 teaspoon of cornstarch over the
apples and mix with the corn syrup, add
salt.

Sift the remaining cornstarch over the crust
and put in the apple mixture, making it as
level as possible.

Moisten the edge of the crust and put on the
top crust, which has been slashed.

Brush top crust with corn oil and bake about
40 minutes or until lightly browned in the
oven at 375 degrees F.
